		<description>I had the exact same issue on my Windows 7 64 bit install. After hours of searching to see what was causing the issue, I found that Windows Security Essentials was the problem.

Internet started working normal again after disabling realtime protection. Since my internet worked just fine after just installing Windows 7, it&#039;s probably some update to security essentials that messed some things up.
