This was causing my BenQ Joybook-Lite U101 netbook to hang at the "Windows is Shutting Down" screen as well as refusing to come out of standby. So it was a matter of security or stability... so i chose stability. I also had Windows Firewall disabled, however this didnt change anything while BFE was still enabled.
