Adobe Reader Problems with Windows 7: Try an Alternative PDF Program
Users have reported an issue in which Adobe Reader does not function properly under Windows 7. In particular, users report problems with intra-browser viewing of PDFs, noting that they sometimes get a blank pop-up with an Adobe title and an OK or hangs in the browser when attempting to view PDFs. The problem is most likely to occur in Internet Explorer 8.
Use an alternative reader
Several users have been able to quickly an easily work around this issue by installing and using an alternative PDF reader. One good choice is the free Foxit Reader. It tends to use fewer resources than Adobe Reader, and works well in Windows 7.

If I would have known the Windows 7 can’t work with Adobe Reader, I would have purchased a MAC laptop. I can’t believe Windows 7 can be worse than Vista, but it looks like it is.
@ Rich….. You are very sadly mistaken. Works fine. Windows 7 rules, no issues for last 6 months.
I have had windows 7 for about 2 weeks so far I have had more problems geting programs to work correctly than i have ever seen and i go back as far as windows 3.1. I have to ask does Microsoft actually test their products?
you are BOTH morons…. win7 stinks and Adobe is notorious for conflicts with its own Adobe brand counterparts, learn how to download patches and upgrades then try it again. People like you SHOULD be using MAC’s… they are geared towards MORONS that have nervous breakdowns when a little problem arises. I fixed mine, now go fix yours.
